BIG TONY'S STRONGMAN ARCHIVES

Below, you will find links to all the digital pics that have been taken over the years at the various contests and practice sessions Tony has competed in.  Obviously the earliest years won't be on here because digital wasn't available that long ago..hahaha!

Tony's been competing in strongman since the first contest way back in 1998 in Burlington IA that Paul Armstrong promoted.  I believe that's the same contest Phil Pfister started at too! And the pack rat that Tony is, we still have the socks with no soles in them from that first contest from the truck pull when he walked out of his shoes and kept going until he tore the bottoms out of his socks!  Thankfully he at least let me wash them!

One thing he didn't let me wash was the shirt from the Strongest Man Alive in St Louis that same year where he got everyone's signatures, including Kaz's and Ahola's.  I still remember the look on their faces when Tony presented his huge back for them to have a spot to sign, there was a moment of amazement in their faces on how huge his back really was, before they penned their names.  He still doesn't believe me, the humble man that he is.
